Seraikela Chhau Gains Global Recognition

Seraikela Chhau, renowned worldwide, was celebrated at the State Chaitra Festival Chhau Mahotsav.

SERAIKELA – The Chhau dance form of Seraikela is now globally recognized, according to Principal District and Sessions Judge Vijay Kumar.

During the State Chaitra Festival Chhau Mahotsav’s inauguration, Kumar called for enhanced security for international Chhau learners.

The festival’s opening ceremony featured vibrant performances and was attended by numerous dignitaries.

Cultural events at the festival included a variety of traditional dances, showcasing the rich diversity of Indian performing arts.

The Mahotsav saw a significant turnout, with audiences showing great enthusiasm for each performance.
