The derailment occurred near the outer post of Kandra railway station on track number 7, prompting a rapid response.
Sirens across major stations within the CKP Railway Division signaled the emergency, leading to immediate actions by railway officials.
The train, heading from Bandamunda to SNFC, derailed due to the application of the master brake.
A hydraulic crane from Tatanagar was promptly dispatched to the site to address the issue.
By 2:30 pm, the guard cabin was successfully repositioned, allowing the goods train to continue its journey without further issues.
