Corona in Jamshedpur: 1 death on Monday, total 328

Jamshedpur: Corona has killed one more person in Jamshedpur on Monday taking the total death toll for East Singhbhum to 328.

According to official data, East Singhbhum has detected 80 more coronavirus positive cases taking the total number of positive cases to 14,277.

On Monday itself 236 patients have been cured and discharged from different hospitals of the city. In all, till Monday, 12,335 patients have been cured and discharged either from hospitals or from home quarantine.

For now the district has 1,771 total active coronavirus infection cases.

The district has tested 2,07,411 samples till Monday. Out of these the total number of positive cases are 14,277. 1,93,134 samples have tested negative.

The 7 days’ growth rate for East Singhbhum district is 3.18%, which is way more than the growth rate for India which 1.31% or the growth rate of Jharkhand, which is 1.44%. The doubling rate for India is 50.11 days, while for Jharkhand it is 48.23 days.

On the other hand, for East Singhbhum it is only 22.14%. Mortality rate for the district is 2.3%, while for the country it is 1.6% and for Jharkhand it is only 0.85%. For the tests conducted today, the positivity rate was 4 pc, while the total positivity for all tests has been 6.9 pc.
