Katyayani Singh, a class 10 student from Netaji Subhash Public School, secures two silver medals at the Khelo India Women’s Swimming Season 2023, showcasing exceptional talent on a national platform.
JAMSHEDPUR – Katyayani Singh, representing Netaji Subhash Public School in Pokhari, has made a significant mark at the Khelo India Women’s Swimming Season 2023 (Round-2) held in Patna, Bihar.
On the opening day of the competition, she earned two silver medals, bringing honor to her school and Jharkhand.
Madan Mohan Singh, Managing Director of Netaji Subhash Sansthan, lauded Katyayani’s achievements and extended wishes for her continued success.
He highlighted Katyayani as an inspiration to her peers and a testament to the institution’s commitment to nurturing both academic and extracurricular talents.
The event, hosted at the Secretariat Sports Complex in Patna, saw participation from 82 women swimmers across Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, and Chhattisgarh.
The inauguration of the competition was carried out by RERA Chairman Vivek Singh, with notable personalities from the Bihar and Jharkhand Swimming Associations in attendance.
Katyayani’s performance was particularly recognized, with many praising her as a promising talent in the swimming arena.
This achievement not only highlights her individual prowess but also signifies the potential of young athletes from the region in national sports competitions.
