TWU Holds Prayer Meeting in Honor of Former President
The Tata Workers’ Union (TWU) held a solemn prayer meeting on Thursday, March 28, to honor the memory of its late former President, Prof. Abdul Bari. The event took place at the Union premises, where members and staff came together to pay their respects to a revered leader. Prof. Bari’s contributions to the Union and its members were remembered with deep respect and gratitude.
JAMSHEDPUR – The ceremony saw the participation of current TWU President Sanjeev Kumar Choudhary, General Secretary Satish Kumar Singh, and other key members of the Union leadership.
Prof. Bari’s portrait was garlanded as a mark of tribute, underscoring the profound impact he had on the Union and its activities.
Among those leading the tribute were Deputy President Shailesh Kumar Singh, Vice Presidents Shahnawaz Alam, Sanjay Kumar Singh, and Rajiv Kumar Choudhary, highlighting the collective respect Prof. Bari commanded.
The event also saw contributions from Assistant Secretaries Ajay Kumar Chaudhary and Nitesh Raj, Treasurer and Accountant Amod Kumar Dubey, and other Executive Committee members, reflecting the wide admiration for Prof. Bari within the TWU.
