ED to Probe Atishi Marlena Over Kejriwal’s ‘Order’ from Custody
Minister May Face Questioning Regarding Source of Alleged Directive
Atishi Marlena, a minister in the Arvind Kejriwal government, has come under the scrutiny of the Enforcement Directorate (ED), which is set to investigate how Kejriwal allegedly issued an order to her while in custody, with the possibility of Atishi being summoned for questioning regarding the source of the alleged ‘order’ and its delivery.
NEW DELHI – Atishi Marlena, a minister in the Arvind Kejriwal government, has come under the radar of the Enforcement Directorate (ED), which plans to investigate the alleged issuance of an order by Kejriwal to Atishi while he was in custody, potentially leading to her being questioned about the source and delivery of the purported directive.
On the other hand, AAP leader and Delhi government minister Atishi said that the head of Aam Aadmi Party and the Chief Minister of Delhi is Arvind Kejriwal.
Arvind Kejriwal was, is and will remain the Chief Minister of Delhi, she said. It is absolutely clear that he will remain the Chief Minister, whether the government is run from inside the jail or from outside.
It may be added here that on March 24, Arvind Kejriwal had issued an order from ED custody. In his order against ED custody, Kejriwal had asked to resolve the water and sewage issues as soon as possible.
ED will also examine CCTV footage in this case.
ED said that no stationery is allowed for the detained people.
ED will investigate how Arvind Kejriwal ordered Atishi Marlena from his custody. Atishi will be questioned about the source of the alleged ‘order’ and who brought it to him.
Soon she may be called for questioning.
