Young Voters Engage in Electoral Awareness Campaign at Jubilee Park

An initiative led by the district administration took place at Jubilee Park to inform young voters about the importance of participating in the upcoming elections, underlining the power of their vote.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a concerted effort to boost electoral participation, the district administration organized a voter awareness program at Jubilee Park, targeting young voters to underline the significance of their electoral rights.

Spearheaded by Senior Officer cum Deputy Development Commissioner of the Sweep Cell, Mr. Manish Kumar, and PD ITDA Mr. Dipankar Choudhary, the campaign aimed to galvanize the youth to actively engage in the democratic process.

Mr. Kumar emphasized the administration’s strategic approach to ensuring a high voter turnout on May 25, 2024, highlighting the Election Commission’s mission to surpass 70 percent voting participation, with a district target of 80 percent.

The event also served as a platform to pledge active youth involvement in the elections, marking a vital step towards achieving the set voting percentage target through widespread awareness and collective action.

Reaffirming the commitment to empowering voters, Mr. Kumar assured that extensive efforts will be made to make the awareness campaign a success, encouraging young voters to exercise their franchise responsibly in the forthcoming elections.
