RANCHI – In a move that has stirred political waters, the BJP has presented an audio recording to Chief Electoral Officer K Ravikumar, claiming it features Mahagama Congress MLA Deepika Pandey Singh in a questionable conversation.

The recording, according to the BJP, captures the MLA discussing financial transactions with an individual known as Rafiq Bhai, leading to suspicions of a significant corruption scandal.

A BJP team, led by spokesperson Pratul Shahdev, lodged a formal complaint and pushed for a thorough inquiry into the allegations, highlighting potential violations of the electoral code of conduct.

The party’s memorandum to the Chief Electoral Officer questions the identities and roles of several individuals mentioned in the clip, including a person referred to as Bulbul, and a minister, whose discussions about financial dealings have raised concerns.
