Political Posters Stir Controversy at Chakulia School
BJP Posters Found at Anand Marg School Raise Concerns Amid Election Code of Conduct
In an unexpected turn of events, Anand Marg School in Chakulia Nagar Panchayat became the center of controversy after BJP posters were discovered on its premises, challenging the election code of conduct.
CHAKULIA – BJP posters were found at the main gate of Anand Marg School in Chakulia Monday morning. The posters were allegedly put up by miscreants. The School principal informed the police and the CO and the latter got the posters removed promptly.
According to reports, early Monday morning, the school’s main gate and boundary walls were found adorned with several posters featuring promises by the BJP, actions believed to have been carried out under the cover of night by unidentified individuals.
The discovery was made by the school headmaster, Sunil Kumar Mahato, and his teaching staff upon their arrival at the school.
Headmaster Mahato promptly reported the incident to the police and the Circle Officer (CO), suspecting the act was intended to malign the school management’s reputation.
Following the report, zonal personnel were dispatched to the school, where they removed the BJP poster from the main gate and began the process of clearing any political posters found in the vicinity.
CO Upendra Kumar confirmed the removal of the posters, attributing their placement to the actions of mischievous elements and emphasizing the directive to eliminate political posters from all public utilities.
This incident gains particular significance in light of the recent commencement of the Lok Sabha Election program and the enforcement of the election code of conduct, which mandates strict accountability for all campaign materials and prohibits the display of posters at public facilities.
The event has sparked a conversation about the importance of maintaining political neutrality within educational institutions and the need for vigilance to ensure the integrity of the election process.
