SBI Parsudih Branch Holds Financial Awareness Seminar at 106 R.A.F.
Educating Military Personnel on Cybercrime, Savings, and Investments
State Bank of India’s Parsudih branch conducted a financial awareness seminar for officers and jawans at the 106 R.A.F. Sundarnagar camp, focusing on cybercrime prevention, savings, investments, and sound financial decision-making.
JAMSHEDPUR – The senior officers of SBI, Parsudih Branch, conducted a seminar on financial awareness for RAF personnel posted at Sundernagar. They advised the RAF personnel about fiscal prudence, investments and cyber crime.
Senior officers of the corps, including Sachchidanand Mishra (Second Commanding Officer) and Gautam Mitra (Sub Commanding Officer), along with other officers and subordinate personnel, attended the seminar, highlighting the importance of financial literacy among military personnel.
The seminar, organized under the guidance of Dr. Nishit Kumar, Commandant of 106 R.A.F., aimed to promote awareness about savings, investments, and good financial decision-making, encouraging financial independence and a secure economic life.
The objective was to enhance soldiers’ understanding of financial management at both personal and social levels, addressing general and specific aspects of financial problems.
Saurabh Kumar, Branch Manager of the Parsudih branch of State Bank of India, along with staff members, conducted the seminar to educate officers and jawans about various types of cybercrimes and financial transactions prevalent in society.
