Champai Soren to Initiate College Building in Chakulia
Chief Minister Champai Soren’s upcoming visit to lay the foundation for a new college in Maradabandh, Chakulia, highlights the focus on enhancing the region’s educational infrastructure.
CHAKULIA – Chakulia is poised for significant educational development as Chief Minister Champai Soren is scheduled to lay the foundation stone for a new degree college building on March 15. This project, with an investment of Rs 55.64 crore, promises to boost the educational landscape of the area.
In anticipation of the Chief Minister’s visit, MLA Sameer Kumar Mahanty and key district officials conducted a detailed site inspection on Wednesday. The team, including Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal and SSP Kaushal Kishore, assessed the Maradabandh Stadium ground helipad, where Soren is expected to arrive.
The inspection also covered the area designated for the foundation stone ceremony, ensuring all preparations are in order for the event. Officials like Sub-divisional Officer Sachchidanand Mahato and SDPO Ajit Kumar Kujur were present, highlighting the significance of this initiative for Chakulia’s future.
This new college is set to mark a milestone in the region’s efforts to enhance educational facilities, reflecting the administration’s commitment to improving learning opportunities for local students.
