GIRIDIH – CM Champai Soren on Sunday laid the foundation stones of several key projects in Giridih.
The projects launched include a mega lift irrigation scheme too.
Travel between Ranchi and Santhal is set to become more efficient.
Relief from reliance on ferries is anticipated with the new four-lane Barabendiya Bridge.
The bridge promises to alleviate traffic congestion, benefiting Jamtara and Dhanbad residents.
Costing around Rs 263 crore, the Barabendiya Bridge’s foundation was laid by CM Soren in Jamtara.
From Jamtara, the Chief Minister proceeded to Giridih, continuing his developmental tour.
The Pirtand Mega Lift Irrigation Project, inaugurated by Soren, aims to address farmers’ irrigation challenges.
Asset distribution to locals was another highlight of Soren’s visit to Madhuban.
