Suryadham Shivalaya in Sidhgora was the focal point for devotees during Maha Shivratri, with rituals and prayers dedicated to Lord Shiva.
JAMSHEDPUR – Mahashivratri was a special day for the people living in and around Sidhgora Surya Mandir.
Devotees began their day at dawn, converging on the temple to partake in Jalabhishek and prayer offerings to Baba Bholenath.
Odisha Governor Raghubar Das was among the worshippers, engaging in rituals to honor Devadhidev Mahadev, Mata Parvati, Shri Ram Darbar, and the Sun God within the temple’s sacred precincts.
He conducted Jalabhishek at the Shivling, invoking blessings for the prosperity and happiness of the people in Odisha and Jharkhand.
The entire day at Suryadham Shivalaya resonated with chants and praises for Lord Shiva, creating a reverent atmosphere.
The Sun Temple Committee, under Chairman Bhupendra Singh’s guidance, ensured the smooth progression of the day’s rituals, serving the large congregation of devotees with dedication.
