50 Bedded Dhanvantari AYUSH Hospital Breaks Ground in Jamshedpur

In a significant boost to healthcare in Jamshedpur, the Jharkhand Government’s Health, Medical Education, and Family Welfare Department has initiated the construction of the 50 bedded Dhanvantari AYUSH Hospital, with the foundation stone laid at the Milan Samiti ground in Kadma Shastri Nagar.

JAMSHEDPUR – The foundation stone was laid for a proposed 50-bed Dhanwantri Ayush Hospital in Jamshedpur. The state Health Minister Banna Gupta laid the foundations.

The new AYUSH hospital aims to enhance the traditional medical practices in the region.

Minister Banna Gupta remarked, "This initiative marks a pivotal moment in healthcare, emphasizing our commitment to traditional medical practices."

He further elaborated, "By fostering Ayurveda, we empower individuals to fortify their health against diseases, ensuring a healthier community."

The facility, set to rise at an estimated cost of Rs 20 crore, promises state-of-the-art infrastructure and services.

Spanning five floors, the hospital is scheduled for completion in 16 months, signaling rapid development in local healthcare amenities.

Its strategic location and capacity are expected to serve not only local residents but also those coming from neighboring areas.

District Deputy Development Commissioner Manish Kumar, alongside other dignitaries, was present during the foundation-laying ceremony.

Their participation underscores the project’s significance for the region’s development.

Gupta, during the ceremony, highlighted Ayurveda’s role as a cornerstone in India’s medical heritage.

This hospital is envisioned as a beacon for promoting physical wellbeing through Ayurvedic practices.

The initiative represents a leap forward in integrating traditional healthcare systems within the modern medical landscape.

Officials anticipate the hospital will play a crucial role in revitalizing Ayurvedic medical practices.

By offering specialized treatments, the hospital aims to cater to a wide range of health needs, enhancing overall community wellbeing.

This development marks a milestone in Jharkhand’s healthcare sector, spotlighting the state’s investment in diverse medical approaches.
