BJYM Plans March for Youth Employment Justice
Youth March to Demand Job Promises Fulfillment in Jamshedpur
In a strategic move to voice grievances against unfulfilled job promises, unemployment, and exam scams, BJYM workers are gearing up for a significant protest at Jamshedpur Employment Exchange, led by the arrival of State President Shashank Raj.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) has announced a significant protest in Jamshedpur, aiming to highlight the unfulfilled promises and failures of the JMM-Congress coalition government in Jharkhand.
State President Shashank Raj accused the government of gross incompetence and corruption, stating, "This government has not only failed to fulfill its promises but has also neglected the youth of Jharkhand."
The protest, termed as Employment Justice March, will take place at Golmuri, with thousands expected to gherao the Jamshedpur Sub Regional Employment Exchange.
BJYM’s call for action comes in response to various issues including the JSSC paper leak and appointment scams, further igniting youth anger across the state.
Youth frustration is palpable, as promises of employment and developmental schemes have been largely ignored, leaving many feeling betrayed.
Sudhanshu Ojha, BJP Jamshedpur Metropolitan President, emphasized the wider public dissent, "The government’s failures have pushed not just the youth but all segments of society into a state of protest."
Amit Aggarwal, BJYM District President, highlighted the planned strategic approach to ensure the movement’s success, signaling a robust mobilization of youth support.
During his welcoming in Jamshedpur, Shashank Raj received a grand reception, marking his first visit as state president and setting the stage for Thursday’s protest.
"The youth of Jharkhand are ready to make their voices heard against this deceitful government," Raj stated, underlining the determination for a historic protest.
Challenges Ahead for the Government
Amid escalating tensions, the government faces significant pressure to address the concerns raised by BJYM and the broader community. The focus on youth unemployment and the mishandling of job promises has brought to light the deeper issues of governance and accountability within the state.
A Warm Welcome
Upon his arrival in Jamshedpur, Shashank Raj was warmly greeted by BJYM workers, underscoring the unity and strength of the organization. This reception not only marked a significant moment for Raj but also showcased the collective resolve to fight for justice and accountability.
"Today’s youth demand action and accountability from the government," said Amit Aggarwal, BJYM District President, reflecting the sentiment of the protesters and the urgency of their cause.
