Incident Near Bridge Number 61 Claims Life of Zakir

A young man named Zakir was fatally struck by a train near Basukinagar in the Moubhandar OP area late Friday night.

JAMSHEDPUR – Zakir, a resident of Basukinagar, was hit by a train near bridge number 61 while traveling home from Manohar Colony with a friend.

The tragic incident occurred on the up line as a train was passing from Ghatsila to Jamshedpur.

Upon receiving information about the incident, social worker Kaliram Sharma and BJP leader and Panchayat Samiti member Vijay Pandey arrived at the scene to inquire about the details.

Personnel from Moubhandar OP and GRP also reached the spot to investigate the matter.

Zakir, who worked as a driver, is survived by his elderly mother, wife, and two children, who are deeply grief-stricken by the news.

The incident has left the community in shock, highlighting the dangers associated with railway tracks.
