Jamshedpur Gears Up with Grand Lighting for JN Tata’s 185th Birth Anniversary
Jubilee Park and over 50 city landmarks to shine in celebration of JN Tata’s birth anniversary, featuring a special laser show.
JAMSHEDPUR – The city of Jamshedpur is set to glow with elaborate lighting arrangements at Jubilee Park and key locations across the city in anticipation of the 185th birth anniversary of Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata, the founder of Tata Steel.
The lighting spectacle begins on March 2, marking the commencement of the Founder’s Day celebrations.
This year’s theme, ‘Technology for People and Planet,’ underscores the significance of innovation for societal and environmental benefit.
A laser show will further enhance the festivities from March 3 to March 5, adding a modern twist to the traditional celebrations.

The event, a testament to Tata Steel’s commitment to community and tradition, will be inaugurated by Tata Group Chairman N Chandrasekaran.
Founder’s Day Activities
The Founder’s Day agenda is packed with events across the city, from sports competitions to technological exhibitions.
Homage will be paid at Jubilee Park on March 2, with the park open to the public from March 3 to March 5 for the light show.
