JAMSHEDPUR – A poignant street corner performance, ‘Swachhata Haye Zaroori,’ took center stage at the Mango Municipal Corporation, captivating an audience with its vital message on cleanliness.
The event was the brainchild of Cube Adityapur Waste Management Pvt Ltd, aiming to spark a change in local waste handling practices.
Scripted by Geeta Kumari and under the direction of Prem Dixit, the play delved into the importance of minimizing household waste and embracing recycling.
It emphasized the significance of keeping our surroundings clean for the well-being of the community.
The narrative explored the fragile relationship between human activities and environmental health.
Municipal Corporation officials, alongside the audience, were moved to commit to upholding the city’s cleanliness and beauty through an oath led by playwright Geeta Kumari.
Tushar Karan, Abhiranjan Kumar, and Anant Sardar brought the play to life, engaging viewers as they portrayed the urgent call for environmental stewardship.
