Champai Soren Vows to Transform Jharkhand into an Ideal State

Jharkhand to Focus on Socio-Economic and Educational Empowerment

Champai Soren commits to making Jharkhand a model state with comprehensive development and equality.

SERAIKELA – Jharkhand’s Chief Minister, Champai Soren, outlined his government’s dedication to transform the state into a socio-economic and educational powerhouse.

Speaking at a function in Seraikela-Kharsawan, Soren emphasized non-discrimination and equal rights for all.

He promised enhanced education, health facilities, pensions for the elderly, employment for youth, and year-round water for agriculture.

Soren highlighted the state’s rich mineral resources and the need to benefit the tribal population from them.

Acknowledging Jharkhand’s 23-year journey as a separate state, he noted the lack of significant efforts to address fundamental issues until the Hemant Soren government took over in 2019.

Under his leadership, efforts to solve basic problems have begun, aiming to categorize Jharkhand among developed states.

A key government priority is ensuring housing for all by 2027, with plans to cover 20 lakh people under the Abua Awas Yojana.

Soren also celebrated the district’s cultural richness, announcing the establishment of a Chhau Dance Art Academy and the development of a tourism hub.

The event saw the inauguration of 16 schemes and the foundation laying of 204 schemes totaling Rs 334.12 crore.

Among these, the Marine Drive on Kharkai River project is notable, envisioned to showcase the area’s art, culture, and history.
