Grand Alliance Candidate Vows to Resist "Dictatorial" BJP, Promote Indigenous Languages and Customs

During a spirited election rally in Chaibasa on Sunday, Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren fervently urged the people to vote for Grand Alliance candidate Joba Majhi in the upcoming elections, emphasizing the crucial need to protect democracy, the Constitution, and the rights of the tribal community.

CHAIBASA – Grand Alliance candidate Joba Majhi, in her address, called for unity in the fight against the "dictatorial" BJP government at the Centre, highlighting former Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s resilience in the face of BJP’s attempts to undermine him and urging voters to support the "Bow and Arrow" campaign on May 13.

The public meeting, held at Tadisai in Kumardungi block and Ladusai Raka ground in Putisiya, witnessed a massive turnout, with villagers from remote areas gathering to express their support for the Grand Alliance.

CM Champai Soren Soren accused the BJP of hindering tribal progress and conspiring against their traditional Manki and Munda system, pledging to prioritize the preservation and promotion of tribal languages by introducing their teaching in primary schools from June and recruiting dedicated teachers for this purpose.

The event underscored the united resolve of the Grand Alliance to challenge the BJP’s dominance in the region, with Joba Majhi emerging as a formidable candidate poised to represent the aspirations of the people of Chaibasa.

Health Minister Banna Gupta echoed Soren’s sentiments, condemning the BJP’s alleged attempts to plunder Jharkhand and calling upon the people to strengthen the Grand Alliance by ensuring a resounding victory for Joba Majhi, emphasizing the need to address the region’s challenges at the national level.

Notable figures present on the stage included Mazgaon MLA Neeral Purti, JMM District Secretary Sonaram Devgam, former MLA Devendra Nath Champia, and Congress District President Chandrashekhar Das, among others.

In a passionate appeal, Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren called upon the residents of Chaibasa to cast their votes in favor of Grand Alliance candidate Joba Majhi, ensuring a decisive victory in the forthcoming elections to safeguard tribal interests and counter efforts to undermine their customs.

The Chief Minister also committed to building model schools in every block to enhance educational facilities, demonstrating his dedication to the advancement of the tribal community.
