JAMSHEDPUR – Kadma police have launched an investigation following an altercation near Bageecha Rasoi restaurant on Marine Drive.
The incident, involving a youth from Adityapur and his associates, reportedly escalated to violence against a local youth.
Witnesses claim that during the confrontation, the youth from Adityapur fired a shot into the air from a pistol.
The altercation began around 10:30 pm when one group approached a group of youths on the beach divider.
Despite claims of gunfire, police have not yet confirmed if shots were actually fired during the incident.
The police’s inability to verify the reported gunfire highlights the challenges of gathering evidence in chaotic situations.
