Bus Accident Injures Devotees on Way to Ayodhya
60 Pilgrims Encounter Mishap Near Salbani, Six Injured
A pilgrimage bus from Odisha to Ayodhya was involved in an accident, injuring six devotees.
JAMSHEDPUR – A bus carrying 60 pilgrims from Odisha to Ayodhya met with an accident near Salbani in East Singhbhum on Saturday, 24th February.
The incident occurred when the bus collided with a parked trailer truck near Galudih.
The devotees, including women and children, were heading to Ayodhya for a pilgrimage.
Six passengers sustained injuries, while the rest were reported safe.
The injured were treated at Ghatshila Sub-Divisional Hospital and later released.
Significant damage was noted on the bus’s front end due to the collision.
A replacement bus was provided to continue the journey to Jamshedpur.
Galudih police assisted at the scene, facilitating medical aid for the injured.
The accident is believed to have resulted from the bus driver’s drowsiness.
The parked trailer truck, already damaged, was stationary at the accident site.
Among the injured were Ashok Dalai, Pitamber Sah, Saroj Kumar Nayak, Prafulla Das, and Shivnath from Jajpur, Odisha.
