JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Power’s commitment to innovation and operational excellence is vividly demonstrated at its Jojobera Power Plant, through partnerships and technological advancements.
In collaboration with GE, the plant has introduced a DE-NOx System with a DB+ controller, significantly cutting NOx emissions and enhancing combustion efficiency.
The initiative reflects a major stride towards reducing CO2 emissions, aligning with global environmental goals.
Adapting to the renewable energy shift, the facility has successfully tested operations at 40% technical minimum load, showcasing flexibility and resilience.
A pioneering Robotic Power Isolation system has been implemented for enhanced safety in the 6.6 KV switchgear, setting a new standard in operational security.
The “Best Water-Efficient Plant” award from the Council of Environmental Excellence highlights Tata Power’s dedication to sustainable water management.
