JAMSHEDPUR – In a decisive crackdown, the Jamshedpur police have dismantled an unauthorized crackers manufacturing unit in Golpahari Bustee, arresting two individuals and confiscating a significant quantity of materials.

The operation, led by Probationary DSP Sunny Vardhan, marks a significant step in addressing illegal activities in the area.

Following a tip-off, the police targeted the residence of Rajendra Singh, known as Babbu, where the illegal factory had been operating for an extended period.

The raid resulted in the arrest of Rajendra Singh and one staff member, shedding light on the operations of the illicit business.

Authorities confiscated a large quantity of crackers, semi-finished products, explosives, and manufacturing equipment, highlighting the scale of the unauthorized operation.

The interrogation of Rajendra Singh revealed crucial details about the source of raw materials and the buyers of the finished products, indicating a broader network of illegal manufacturing.
