Youth shot in mouth in Jamshedpur, dispute over illegal business leads to violence
A dispute related to illegal business activities in Jugsalai, Jamshedpur, escalated into violence, resulting in a youth being shot in the mouth.
JAMSHEDPUR – A grave incident unfolded in the Garib Nawaz Colony of Jugsalai, Jamshedpur, where a youth was shot in the mouth following a late-night confrontation related to illegal business dealings.
Mohammad Hasan, identified as the shooter, is reported to have been involved in drug trafficking and other unlawful activities within the community.
The conflict arose from Mohammad Afzal, along with his friends, actively opposing Hasan’s illegal ventures in their neighborhood.
Despite attempts at dissuasion, the disagreement escalated late Friday night when Hasan confronted Afzal at his home, urging him to cease his opposition.
Afzal’s resistance led to Hasan firing at him, causing severe injuries.
Local residents swiftly intervened, rushing Afzal to the hospital, where he is currently receiving medical treatment.
The police were promptly notified and have initiated an investigation to unravel the circumstances leading to this violent altercation.
