JAMSHEDPUR – The Regional Vaccine Store located at Jail Chowk, Jamshedpur, was inspected by District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner Mr. Manjunath Bhajantri.
This store serves as a vital hub for vaccine storage for all the three districts of Kolhan division.
During the inspection, the District Magistrate reviewed the routine vaccination work and gave clear instructions to maintain the vaccine in a proper manner.
The condition of the building, arrangement of adequate fridges for vaccine storage, deputed manpower, stock of vaccine, and the distribution process in the blocks were thoroughly assessed.
Concerns about water logging in the premises were addressed, and instructions were given to the building construction engineer to take necessary action.
The store manager was also directed to pay special attention to cleanliness.
Mr. Bhajantri’s decisive oversight ensures that all concerned will adhere to best practices, guaranteeing no disruption in the routine vaccination work.
