Kadma Hosts Final Jam@Street Event, Draws Over 25,000 Attendees

The last Jam@Street event of the season, emphasizing voting awareness, successfully concludes in Kadma, witnessed by over 25,000 people.

JAMSHEDPUR – The streets of Kadma were alive with joy and engagement as Tata Steel UISL, alongside Tata Steel and Tata Steel Foundation, concluded the season’s last Jam@Street extravaganza.

Over 25,000 attendees gathered, participating in an event dedicated to raising voting awareness for the upcoming Loksabha Aam Nirvachan 2024.

The theme, Youth Challen Booth, captured the attention of many, highlighting the importance of young voters’ participation in the democratic process.

Activities ranging from quizzes and street plays to creative arts like Rangoli making showcased the talents of East Singhbhum’s residents, all while emphasizing the critical message of voting.

Diverse Attractions and Civic Engagement

A myriad of activities was organized by the District Election Office, East Singhbhum, to both entertain and educate.

Participants enjoyed Zumba, basketball, golf putting, and even horse riding, among other attractions.

Notably, a live band performance and karaoke sessions added a musical flair to the event, engaging a wide audience.

The presence of dignitaries like Manish Kumar (IAS), DDC, East Singhbhum, Piyush Sinha, SDO, Dalbhum, and Chanakya Chaudhary, Chairman, Tata Steel UISL, underscored the event’s importance.

Their participation in promoting voting awareness through interactive activities, including the symbolic act of flying balloons, was a highlight, reinforcing the community’s commitment to democratic participation.

Celebration Beyond an Event

The Jam@Street extravaganza transcended the bounds of a mere event, morphing into a comprehensive celebration of community spirit and shared experiences.

Special attractions like Gatka, mixed martial arts, and cycling, along with the introduction of food stalls and additional performing artists, contributed to the unique ambiance.

The setup of selfie corners for the upcoming Vintage Car Rally program was a hit, offering memorable moments for attendees.
