Residents Block Gate Over Lack of Basic Services

Protest Erupts at Birsanagar Apartment Over Amenities

Key Points:

  • Residents block gate over power, water, lift issues
  • Maintenance fees charged despite poor facilities
  • Warning issued for stronger agitation if ignored

JAMSHEDPUR – Residents of an apartment complex protested by blocking the main gate over prolonged lack of basic amenities.

Residents of an apartment in Birsanagar staged a protest on Friday. They blocked the main gate and raised slogans against management.

However, protesters accused the builder of failing to provide essential services. They said electricity, water, and lift services remain unreliable.

Meanwhile, residents claimed repeated complaints brought no action from authorities. This continued neglect increased frustration among families.

Moreover, residents alleged maintenance charges are still collected regularly. They said services remain poor despite full payments.

In contrast, management reportedly cited incomplete maintenance contributions as a reason. However, residents rejected this explanation as unfair.

Meanwhile, daily life has been disrupted for many families. Children, elderly people, and women face frequent inconvenience.

On the other hand, locals gathered after learning about the blockade. The protest drew attention from nearby residents as well.

Moreover, protesters warned of intensified agitation if issues persist. They demanded immediate restoration of all basic facilities.

Meanwhile, no official response has been issued by the management. The situation remains tense at the apartment complex in Jamshedpur.
