Humanities Research Methodology Workshop Held at XITE College

XITE College’s recent workshop on Humanities Research Methodology provides essential skills and insights for academic excellence.

JAMSHEDPUR – XITE College’s initiative to promote academic rigor within the humanities domain culminated successfully with a Research Methodology session.

This workshop, held from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, was focused on enriching participants’ understanding and application of research methodologies in the humanities.

Assistant Professor Ms. Sudipa Mukherjee from Netaji Subhas University led the session as the resource person, delivering a detailed exploration of both qualitative and quantitative research techniques.

The workshop emphasized literature review methods, data collection strategies, analysis approaches tailored for humanities studies, and the unique ethical considerations within the field.

Interactive discussions and presentations allowed participants to delve into the complexities of humanities research, under Ms. Mukherjee’s guidance.

The collaborative atmosphere of the session encouraged the exchange of ideas and experiences among attendees, fostering a deeper comprehension of the subject.

Students from the Department of English at XITE College and distinguished guests including Dr. (Fr.) Mukti Clarence, Dr. Swati Singh, Prof. Stuti Rag, Prof. Anjali Jha, and Prof. Akinchan Xaxa were in attendance.

The workshop marks a significant step towards enhancing research capabilities and broadening intellectual perspectives among students and faculty in the humanities at XITE College.
