Vasantotsav 2024 Kicks Off in Jamshedpur Tulsi Bhawan
Singhbhum District Celebrates Spring with Cultural Fervor
Jamshedpur’s Vasantotsav began on 17 February 2024, showcasing cultural richness and artistic talent, with Sur Sadhika Mrs. Nupur Goswami receiving the prestigious Saraswat Kala Sadhak Shiromani Samman.
JAMSHEDPUR – The two-day "Vasantotsav" program was initiated on Saturday, 17 February 2024, at 6:00 pm in the main auditorium of Tulsi Bhawan, organized by Singhbhum District Hindi Sahitya Sammelan.
The event honored the city’s renowned Sur Sadhika Mrs. Nupur Goswami with "Saraswat Kala Sadhak Shiromani Samman – 2024".
She was bestowed with a flower bunch, body clothes, quince, a certificate of honor, a memento, and a cash prize of Rs 11000/-.
Dr. Ragini Bhushan detailed Mrs. Goswami’s biography during the ceremony.
Mr. Subhash Chandra Munka, President of the Institute, and Dr. Prosenjit Tiwari, Honorary General Secretary of Operations, presided over the program.
Mr. Arun Kumar Tiwari, Trustee of the Institute, made the welcome statement.
Mr. Ashok Pathak ‘Snehi’, Vice President of the Literature Committee, delivered the vote of thanks.
Ravindra Narayan Singh, Jamshedpur Mahanagar Karyavah of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, attended as the chief guest.
The event commenced with a lamp lighting ceremony, flower offerings, and Saraswati Vandana by Mrs. Madhavi Upadhyay.
The cultural segment featured vibrant dance performances by ‘Sudha Deep Dance Academy’ children, including Saraswati Vandana, Tarana, and Radha Krishna Raas.
Performers like Guru Maa Sudha Deep, Simran, Vishakha, and others showcased their talent.
Dr. Sanatan Deep and Prof. Pankaj Jha concluded the program with a Ghazal Sandhya.
Distinguished guests and hundreds of literature and music enthusiasts attended the festival.
