Banna Gupta Criticizes BJP for Manipulating Champai Soren

Calls out BJP for treating former CM Champai Soren as a ‘caged tiger’ under their control.

Jharkhand Minister Banna Gupta has once again voiced sharp criticism against former Chief Minister Champai Soren, accusing the BJP of manipulating him.

JAMSHEDPUR – Jharkhand Minister Banna Gupta has sharply criticized former Chief Minister Champai Soren, alleging that the BJP is controlling him like a "caged tiger."

During a recent event in Jamshedpur’s Bhuiyandih area, Banna Gupta responded to claims made by Champai Soren at BJP events about bringing the BJP’s influence to Kolhan.

Gupta remarked, "The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha used to call him a tiger, but now the BJP has locked him in a cage and is making him dance to their tunes."

Criticism of Saryu Roy and Arjun Munda

Banna Gupta also took aim at MLA Saryu Roy and former Chief Minister Arjun Munda regarding the ongoing anti-encroachment drive in Bhuiyandih, initiated under orders from the National Green Tribunal (NGT).

He accused Roy and Munda of being responsible for the current situation, claiming that Munda filed a complaint with the NGT based on Roy’s suggestions.

"The game being played in the name of the eco-sensitive zone will not succeed as long as I am a minister," Gupta asserted.

The minister vowed to oppose any unjust actions during his tenure, particularly in matters related to environmental concerns and local encroachments.

Gupta’s remarks highlight the ongoing political tensions in Jharkhand as BJP and opposition leaders continue to clash over key issues.
