Samarpan’s candlelight vigil honors 40 fallen heroes in Bagbera Colony
In a heartfelt tribute, Samarpan led a commemoration for the CRPF personnel lost in the Pulwama attack, with community leaders and locals uniting in remembrance.
JAMSHEDPUR – In an emotional ceremony at Bagbera Colony’s Chitragupta puja ground, Samarpan, a local social organization, hosted a tribute to honor the 40 Indian security personnel martyred in the Pulwama terrorist attack.
Participants included officials from Samarpan, Panchayat representatives, and residents, all gathered to express their respect and sorrow for the fallen heroes.
The vigil commenced with Zilla Parishad President Bari Murmu and Vice President Pankaj Singha leading the attendees in laying floral tributes to the martyrs, followed by a two-minute silence and prayers for the peace of the departed souls.
Notable figures such as social worker Harendra Singh, Panchayat committee members, and various community leaders actively participated in the homage.
The congregation saw a united front from the community, with members from diverse backgrounds including ward members, former ward members, social workers, and club presidents marking their presence.
This assembly underscored the collective mourning and remembrance of the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the tragic event on the Jammu Srinagar National Highway.
The tribute served not only as a memorial but also as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by security personnel in the line of duty.
