Champai Soren government’s second cabinet meeting on Monday to focus on upcoming budget session and MSME legislation.
Upcoming Jharkhand cabinet meeting to deliberate on MSME Act and budget session proposals.
RANCHI – The Jharkhand cabinet, under Chief Minister Champai Soren, is scheduled to convene for its second meeting on February 12, with limited participation due to pending cabinet expansion.
The meeting, featuring Chief Minister Soren alongside ministers Alamgir Alam and Satyanand Bhokta, is anticipated to address the initiation of the assembly’s budget session from February 23.
A significant agenda item includes the proposal to formalize the MSME policy into law, aiming to simplify the industrial setup process for MSMEs through self-certification.
The cabinet is also expected to discuss the establishment of an MSME Directorate within the Industries Department, enhancing the sector’s administrative framework.
This follows the inaugural cabinet meeting of the Soren government, which revisited decisions made under the previous administration, including the cancellation of a previously scheduled budget session.
Chief Minister Soren has previously lauded the Hemant Soren government’s achievements, particularly in supporting tribal and indigenous communities, and expressed commitment to building on these foundations.
