Jamshedpur Police Organizes City Tour for Rural Students
Jian village students experience city life in Jamshedpur through community policing initiative.
School students from Jian village, Gudabandha, enjoyed a unique city tour organized by the Human Welfare Trust and local police.
JAMSHEDPUR – Students from the Naxal-affected Jian village of Gudabandha were treated to a city tour, witnessing Jamshedpur’s urban landscape for the first time.
The tour, part of a community policing effort, aimed to bridge the rural-urban divide, offering the students insights into city life.
Senior Superintendent of Police Kaushal Kishore, along with other officials, distributed games and food items to the students at the District Police Headquarters.
The visit included educational trips to Jubilee Park and the Zoo, enhancing the students’ general knowledge and exposure.
Officials, including Rural SP and Gudabandha police station in-charge Parvez Alam, engaged with the students, answering their queries and fostering interaction.
The initiative reflects efforts to enlighten rural students about urban living and the opportunities beyond their village confines.
Mukhtar Alam, President of the Human Welfare Trust, highlighted the importance of exposing these children to the broader world, aiming to expand their horizons.
