BJP Spokesman Exposes Alleges Merit Scam Amidst ED’s 539-Page Report
BJP says the Enforcement Directorate’s detailed report reveals the Merit scam, intensifying demands for a CBI investigation into Jharkhand’s latest controversy.
RANCHI – The political landscape in Jharkhand is once again under scrutiny as the Merit scam unfolds, following the revelation of a comprehensive 539-page report by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to the court.
Kunal Sarangi, spokesperson for the BJP in Jharkhand, emphasized the need for impartial justice, arguing against shielding individuals based on caste, religion, or creed in criminal matters.
He highlighted the BJP’s commitment to tribal welfare and integrity, contrasting it with the current state government’s alleged misdemeanors.
Sarangi condemned the manipulation of youth aspirations, advocating for stringent penalties against those compromising the future of Jharkhand’s youth.
He critiqued the hurried investigation of the question paper leak, suggesting bias and inadequate scrutiny by assigning only a DSP-ranked officer.
Sarangi said that questions arise regarding the conduct of the JSSC exams, including the choice of agencies and the anomaly in question paper difficulty levels, pointing towards potential corruption.
The BJP spokesperson questioned the rationale behind specific JSSC and JPSC examination processes, hinting at systemic irregularities.
Sarangi called out the alleged nepotism and favoritism in the selection process of JSSC exams, suggesting a breach of meritocracy.
Amidst allegations, the BJP demands a CBI investigation, underlining the gravity of the Merit scam and its implications on Jharkhand’s governance.
He said that the scandal implicates the Chief Minister’s Office, with accusations of involvement in a JSSC examination question paper leak, as per WhatsApp chats submitted in court.
In a significant development, the BJP has launched an attack on the JMM-Congress-RJD coalition government, spotlighting the Merit scam amidst a series of financial irregularities in Jharkhand.
