JAMSHEDPUR – The Income Tax Department in Jamshedpur took a significant step towards environmental conservation by organizing a plantation drive at the Upgraded Middle School in Tangrain, Potka.
Students from the school’s Bal Sansad and Eco Club actively participated in the initiative, planting 50 saplings within the school premises.
Income Tax Officer Vijay Kumar, representing the Jamshedpur Headquarters, facilitated the event by providing the saplings to the school principal, Arvind Tiwari.
Pritam Singh, the Administrative Officer from the Chief Commissioner of Income Tax’s office, marked his presence, underscoring the department’s commitment to community involvement.
This green initiative not only aims to beautify the school environment but also instills a sense of responsibility towards nature among the students.
