Govind Vidyalaya Tamulia hosts a memorable farewell for Class XII, marking their journey with joy and aspirations.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Govind Vidyalaya, Tamulia, recently hosted a heartfelt farewell for its Class XII students, celebrating their journey and achievements throughout the school years.

The event began with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp, signifying the enlightening path the students are set to embark on.

School director Dr. B.D. Sharma, along with Secretary Abhishek Sharma, Principal Krishna Modak, Head of Department Naushad Razia, Public Relations Officer Rajesh Sharma, and Hindi Medium section Principal Sunita Tripathi, graced the occasion with their presence.

A welcome song set the tone for the event, followed by a Tilak Ceremony conducted by the juniors, symbolizing respect and good wishes for the outgoing batch.

Principal Krishna Modak, in her address, lauded the outgoing students for their active participation in competitions and their contributions to setting higher standards of excellence. She extended her best wishes for their future endeavors.

The event featured a blend of dance performances, songs, music, and a ramp walk by the students of Std XI, showcasing their talents and celebrating the occasion.

The outgoing class representatives took the opportunity to express their gratitude towards their mentors and teachers for the memorable school journey. Each student was honored with a memento to cherish their school memories.

Md Arsalan and Saleha Perween were honored as Mr and Miss GVT respectively, with seventeen additional titles awarded to students for their various achievements and qualities.

The program also included a valuable session by police officers from the Saraikela PS, who introduced the Jharkhand Shakti App for women’s safety and informed about the update of the police helpline number to 112.

The event concluded with speeches by Taskeen Perween and Kehkasha Shahid, and a vote of thanks by Rehan Khan, encapsulating the spirit of gratitude and camaraderie that defined the farewell.

Organized under the supervision of Activity In-charge Naushad Razia and Mousmi Aditya, the farewell was a fitting tribute to the departing batch, filled with nostalgia, joy, and hope for the future.
