JAMSHEDPUR – The AISMOC 2024 conference, a pivotal event for medical professionals in the steel industry, commenced with the Computer Assisted Cataract Surgery presentation by Dr Bharti Sharma, TMH’s Ophthalmology Department Head.

The pro-con debate session saw Heads of Medical Divisions from six steel plants discussing contemporary healthcare topics.
These discussions spanned the significance of integrated medicine, the effectiveness of generic vs. branded medicines, the impact of robotic surgery, and the role of pharmaceuticals in conferences.
The Symposium on The Golden Hour featured experts from various steel plants addressing critical care topics like ACS, Sepsis, Stroke, and Trauma.
Guest lectures covered a range of vital healthcare issues, including gender reassignment, abnormal bleeding, and genetic journey in perinatal & pediatric care.
The conference’s scientific program and TQM Award Paper sessions highlighted research from doctors across seven steel companies.
