RANCHI – Jharkhand Governor CP Radhakrishnan issued a statement regarding the ongoing Enforcement Directorate (ED) actions against Chief Minister Hemant Soren, emphasizing the universality of law.
He stressed that if Soren is not responding today, he will inevitably have to do so in the future, affirming that the law applies equally to everyone.
Governor Radhakrishnan remarked on the state’s close monitoring of political activities and assured that any necessary legal actions would be undertaken.
While acknowledging limited knowledge about the specifics of ED’s actions, the Governor noted that the agency operates under its own rules and authority.
Governor Radhakrishnan expressed concern over the poor law and order situation in Jharkhand, a sentiment he has voiced repeatedly.
