TEEP Hosts Outstanding Activity Club Award for Jamshedpur Schools
Tata Education Excellence Program Celebrates School Clubs’ Achievements
The Tata Education Excellence Program (TEEP) showcases the Outstanding Activity Club Award 2023-2024 for schools in Jamshedpur, highlighting student development and club impact.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Tata Education Excellence Program (TEEP) recently rejuvenated its initiative, the ‘Outstanding Activity Club’ Award for the academic year 2023-2024, dedicated to schools in Jamshedpur.
The event, held at the Golmuri Club Auditorium on January 23, featured presentations from 23 clubs across 16 schools, including 14 English Medium and 2 Hindi Medium Schools.
The Outstanding Activity Club Award, introduced in 2016, is designed to motivate schools in Jamshedpur to use activity clubs for holistic student development and societal impact.
The club presentations by students and teacher moderators were evaluated by a two-member jury consisting of Ashu Tiwary, Principal of Motilal Nehru Public School, and Dr. Renu Mahashabde, an educator and teacher.
TEEP Executive Vidya Battiwalla initiated the programme with a welcome address and jury introduction, followed by the activity club presentations.
Sandhya Murthy, President of the Tinplate Ladies Welfare Association, attended the event, appreciating the efforts of the various clubs.
The programme culminated with the announcement of the best teams by jury member Ashu Tiwary, recognizing clubs such as the Internet Club of KPS Burmamines and the Safe Club of Tarapore School Agrico.
About TEEP: Launched in 2003, TEEP aims to enhance the quality of education in various schools through a year-long engagement and assessment based on the Malcolm Baldrige Performance Excellence criteria. This initiative encompasses private, government, and semi-government schools in and around Jamshedpur.
