Sidhgora Town Hall Hosts Vibrant Republic Day Cultural Fest
Students Showcase Patriotic Fervor in Jamshedpur Cultural Event
District administration’s Republic Day event at Sidhgora Town Hall features patriotic performances by students.
JAMSHEDPUR – The district administration celebrated Republic Day at Sidhgora’s Town Hall with a cultural extravaganza, showcasing the talents of local students.
District Magistrate cum Deputy Commissioner Mr. Manjunath Bhajantri, along with other senior officials, inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp.
Students from various schools delivered captivating performances of patriotic songs and dances, earning widespread applause.
The program included renditions of ‘Vande Mataram’, ‘Yoddha Ban Gayi Main’, and other patriotic hits, creating a spirited atmosphere.
Participating schools like South Point School Patamda, Kerala Samajam Model School Golmuri, and Loyola School Bistupur, among others, brought the auditorium alive with their enthusiasm.
Special recognition was given to outstanding performances in both singing and drama.
Kerala Samajam Model School Golmuri, Loyola School Bistupur, and AIWC Academy of Excellence won third, second, and first prizes respectively in singing.
CM School of Excellence, Sakchi received a special award for a drama on daughters, while the children of Dighi, Bhula Bodam were acknowledged for their Chhau dance.
Tata Workers Union Kadma was recognized for their dance presentation.
In the dance category, Jusco School Kadma, KGBV Potka, and KGBV Jamshedpur girls were awarded first, second, and third places for their dynamic performances.
The event not only celebrated the Republic Day spirit but also highlighted the cultural richness and talents of Jamshedpur’s youth.
