Empowering Women with Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Session by TRF

In an empowering move, TRF Limited organized an awareness session on menstrual hygiene for women and girls in Jamshedpur’s Chuna Bhatta area, distributing sanitary pads and sharing vital health knowledge.

JAMSHEDPUR – On January 23, TRF Limited took a significant step towards women’s health by conducting an awareness session on menstrual hygiene in the Chuna Bhatta slum area of Jamshedpur.

The session, led by Dr. Archana Srivastava, enlightened approximately 80 local women and girls on the importance of menstruation hygiene.

In a gesture of support, TRF’s female employees volunteered to distribute sanitary pads to the women of Chuna Bhatta, enhancing their access to essential hygiene products.

This initiative saw the participation of Mr. M H Hiramanek, General Secretary of Tata Robins Fraser Labour Union, and Mr. Kaushik Dutta, Head of Corporate Services and Communications, alongside key volunteers, all committed to facilitating this vital health program.

The local community leader, Mr. Burma Kansari, Mukhiya of the Chuna Bhatta area, expressed his appreciation for TRF’s dedicated efforts in promoting welfare and awareness.
