39-Year-Old Hazra’s 100th Blood Donation Marks a Milestone in Jamshedpur

In an inspiring feat in Jamshedpur, Kumaresha Hazra, a 39-year-old member of Prateek Sangharsh Foundation (PSF), has been recognized as the "First Centurian Youngest Blood Donor." This title, bestowed upon him following his 100th voluntary blood donation, has etched his name in the annals of Jamshedpur Blood Centre’s history.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a remarkable display of dedication and humanitarian service, Kumaresha Hazra, 39, from Baridih, has achieved a monumental milestone in blood donation.

Hazra, a valiant member of the Prateek Sangharsh Foundation (PSF), has been acknowledged as the first young centenarian blood donor in Jamshedpur’s history.

This historic achievement took place at the Jamshedpur Blood Center, where Hazra successfully completed his 100th voluntary blood donation.

His latest contribution, which was his 60th single donor platelet (SDP) donation, is a testament to his unwavering commitment to saving lives.

Hazra’s feat coincides with PSF’s significant accomplishment of reaching their 771st SDP donation, further highlighting the organization’s pivotal role in the field of blood donation.

He attributes this milestone to several key figures, including his parents, the director of PSF, and the General Manager of Jamshedpur Blood Center, Sanjay Choudhary, along with the medical team and staff.

Moreover, Hazra dedicated this significant achievement to the 75th year of Republic Day, linking his personal triumph to a national celebration.

The Celebration of a Milestone

The Jamshedpur Blood Center was festively adorned in anticipation of Hazra’s milestone donation.

Upon his arrival, Hazra was warmly received with greetings and cheers, marking the significance of the occasion.

Following the completion of his "century innings" in blood donation, Hazra was honored by the Jamshedpur Blood Center and PSF.

He received a bouquet, a shawl, and a memento, symbolizing respect and appreciation for his extraordinary contribution.

The event was graced by notable personalities, including Hazra’s family, key officials from the Jamshedpur Blood Center, and members of PSF.

Among them were Hazra’s wife Dr. Shivani Hazra, son Aniket Hazra, and GM of Jamshedpur Blood Center, Sanjay Chaudhary.

The presence of these individuals underscored the communal support and recognition for Hazra’s commendable achievement.
