Banga Utsav Samiti Announces Cultural Fiesta at Gopal Maidan

Banga Utsav Samiti Kolhan is set to organize a vibrant cultural festival at Gopal Maidan, Bistupur, featuring musical performances, literary sessions, and community discussions.

JAMSHEDPUR – The much-anticipated Banga Utsav is scheduled to be held at Gopal Maidan in Bistupur on Sunday, January 28, offering a rich cultural experience.

The event, organized by the Banga Utsav Samiti Kolhan, promises an array of engaging activities including cultural programs and discussions on community rights.

Achintam Gupta, President of Banga Utsav Samiti, revealed that renowned artists like Badal Paul, Anushka Patra, and Rahul Sinha will captivate audiences with Baul and other Bengali folk songs.

These performances will also feature Banga-speaking artists from nearby areas, adding local flair to the event.

The event is expected to attract over two lakh members of the Bengali fraternity, with special arrangements for free meals for those coming from rural areas.

The day’s proceedings will commence with the inauguration by prominent Bengali community members, followed by the unveiling of a commemorative plaque.

Several socio-cultural organizations will enhance the festivities with exhibitions and food stalls, showcasing Bengali culture and cuisine.

The event’s announcement was made at a press meet held at The Bengal Club on Wednesday, setting the stage for a day full of cultural celebration and community bonding.
