RANCHI – In observance of the historic consecration of Lord Shri Ram Lalla in Ayodhya, Jharkhand’s Chief Minister Hemant Soren has announced a state holiday on January 22, 2024.

This decision mandates the closure of all government schools for the entire day and government offices until 2:30 pm.

District Magistrate cum Deputy Commissioner Shri Manjunath Bhajantri has issued this order following the state government’s guidelines.

This holiday, officially notified by the Department of Personnel, Administrative Reforms, and Official Language, reflects the significance of the event.

The celebration of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Ayodhya Ram temple has sparked widespread enthusiasm across Jharkhand.
