JMM Protests Against ED’s Action on Chief Minister
JMM Leaders Rally in Jamshedpur, Accuse Centre of Harassing CM
JMM leaders in Jamshedpur protest against ED’s interrogation of the Chief Minister, alleging political harassment by the Central Government.
JAMSHEDPUR – Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leaders, infuriated by the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) actions, have taken to the streets in protest.
In Jamshedpur, a significant demonstration was held at the Sakchi roundabout, led by former MP Suman Mahato and Yuva Morcha District President Baban Rai.
While the Chief Minister faced interrogation in Ranchi, these protests echoed across the state, targeting the BJP-led Central Government.
The JMM leadership accused the Centre of using agencies like the ED and CBI to harass non-BJP leaders and ministers across the country.
They argued that while corrupt leaders seeking refuge in the BJP are overlooked, opponents face undue scrutiny and raids.
Emphasizing the need for just action, the leaders asserted that if the Chief Minister is guilty, he should face jail rather than intimidation.
JMM’s strong stance was clear: any further harassment of the Chief Minister by the ED would be met with an all-out fight, promising a fitting response to the agency.
These protests highlight the growing tension between the state government and the Centre, with potential implications for political stability and governance in Jharkhand.
