Tatanagar Railway Station to Be Model Facility; GM AK Mishra Inspects

South Eastern Railway GM inspects Tatanagar station; plans for redevelopment and third line by 2024 revealed.

JAMSHEDPUR – GM AK Mishra of South Eastern Railway reached Tatanagar, inspected Tatanagar railway station regarding passenger facilities, and gave necessary guidelines to the concerned officials.

On reaching Tatanagar railway station, the GM inspected the entire station, taking stock of all the facilities available to the passengers.

During the inspection, GM Secretary Manish Pathak, DRM AJ Rathore of Chakradharpur division, along with other railway officials and employees were present.

GM AK Mishra inspected everything from the parking lot to the second entry gate.

He announced that Tatanagar railway station redevelopment consultancy work will be completed this month.

Furthermore, Tatanagar railway station will be developed into a model railway station in the coming 2 years.

Very soon, the third line yard will be ready in Adityapur this month, and by July 2024, the third line yard will be ready in Tatanagar railway station, with a target set by the railways to complete the work of the third line by 2024.

Several steps are being taken in this direction, including the construction of new quarters by demolishing the Condom railway quarters to prevent illegal occupation.

Regarding a firing incident in Tatanagar parking, GM Mishra stated that the tender will be taken by the Railways.
