Jharkhand Mukti Morcha Rallies Against ED Summons to CM
Jamshedpur Witnesses JMM Protest Against ED’s Action on Chief Minister
Jharkhand Mukti Morcha stages a mass procession in Jamshedpur, protesting against ED summons issued to the state’s Chief Minister.
JAMSHEDPUR – Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) workers have been actively protesting against the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) continuous summons to the Chief Minister of Jharkhand.
In a recent display of dissent, the JMM Jamshedpur Block Committee organized a mass procession at Karandih Chowk.
This protest aligns with statewide demonstrations by JMM against the ED’s actions.
Bahadur Kisku, President of the JMM Jamshedpur Block Committee, led the procession, which covered the entire area.
During the march, JMM workers accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of unnecessarily harassing the state’s Chief Minister.
Bahadur Kisku, voicing the concerns, claimed that the ED’s actions, allegedly instigated by the BJP, targeted the state’s energetic Chief Minister.
He warned that if the harassment continues, people from 55 Panchayats under the Jamshedpur Block Committee would escalate their protests in support of the Chief Minister.
The Chief Minister is scheduled for interrogation by the ED on January 20, a situation that has intensified the political atmosphere in the region.
