Serious Injuries in Ranchi-Jamshedpur Bus-Auto Crash Near Chowka

A severe accident occurred on NH 33 near Chowka police station area, where a Konark bus collided with an auto, causing grave injuries to the auto driver.

JAMSHEDPUR – On Sunday night, around 8 pm, a grave road mishap took place on NH 33 near Dinai in the Chowka police station area.

A Konark bus, en route from Ranchi to Jamshedpur, collided with a three-wheeler auto, resulting in severe injuries to the auto driver, Sunil Kumar.

Local residents, after strenuous efforts, rescued Kumar from the wrecked auto and rushed him to the hospital via ambulance.

The Chowka police, upon receiving information about the accident, arrived at the scene to investigate and manage the situation.

After considerable effort, the damaged vehicles, including the bus, were moved from the middle of the road to the side and subsequently taken into custody.

This incident has raised concerns about road safety on NH 33, a crucial route connecting Ranchi and Jamshedpur.

The condition of the injured auto driver, Sunil Kumar, is a critical matter of concern following the collision.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident and assessing the need for improved safety measures on this busy highway.
