Jamshedpur to Celebrate 19th River Worship Festival on January 14
Swarnarekha Kshetra Vikas Trust is set to conduct its annual river worship on January 14, marking the 19th year of this spiritual tradition.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Swarnarekha Kshetra Vikas Trust has announced its plans to conduct the annual river worship on January 14, continuing a cherished tradition.
This year’s event marks the 19th River Worship Festival, attracting various local and state dignitaries.
The puja will take place across multiple ghats, including Domuhani in Sonari, Bhuiyandih Kalyannagar, Pandey in Sitaramdera, and Bhojpur Colony in Baridih.
At Domuhani Ghat, Sonari, the worship will commence at 10.30 am, followed by the distribution of Prasad.
This event, jointly organized by Yugantar Bharti and Swarnarekha Kshetra Vikas Trust, is a significant part of Jamshedpur’s spiritual and cultural landscape.
Notably, Jamshedpur East MLA Mr. Saryu Roy is expected to grace the occasion as the chief guest.
Mr. Mukul Mishra, Mr. Subodh Srivastava, and Mr. Manoj Ujjain will oversee the puja ceremonies at their respective ghats.
These celebrations reflect the community’s reverence for the river, emphasizing the importance of spiritual and environmental consciousness.
